Taking Chances

Taking chances are all about making sacrifices. To be able to take a chance means that you are strong enough to sacrifice the knowledge of knowing what comes next.

Because chances are so mysterious, we often run away before even trying to approach it. But what will kill you even more are the “What Ifs” you’ll be asking yourself in the end when you fail to take a risk. Like: “What if I did…” or “What if she/he…” I’m not suggesting that taking the chance is always the right thing to do, but to understand that regret is something we may not want to encounter for MOST of our life.

There’s a reason why changes and chances are spelled similarly and rhyme. It’s because they affect one another. Even though this is not the direct reason… I believe that if you made a change, you took a chance and if you took a chance, you made a change.

So in the end, taking chances are accepting the fact that something, no matter how small or large it is, is going to change somehow in the future. Don’t be afraid of it. Change and chances can be good for us you know. c:
